The Health and Wellness Team is lead by the Parish Nurse at Bay View Lutheran Church. The programs, support groups, and educational opportunities are offered to the church family, and also the surrounding community.

Blood Pressure Clinics
Offered between services the first weekend of every month. Also offered at Loaves and Fishes (at NWTC) and at the annual Health Fair at the YMCA in the fall. Always Free.

Surviving the Loss of a Spouse
A Grief Support Group that meets the second Thursday of every month from 10-11 am. Now in it’s 4th year of offering healing and comfort to the people of Door and surrounding communities. Non-denominational, no charge- all are welcome.

Personal Health Counselor and liaison with Community Resources
The Parish Nurse is available in her office every Wednesday and Thursday to discuss anything that you are concerned about, and to help you find resources that you may be unaware of.

Blood Pressure Screenings are held in the Parish Nurse office as follows:
First Sunday of the month from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M
