Description:
The Lead Safe Homes Program is funded through a grant from the Department of Health Services. It is administered by the Social Development Commission.
The Social Development Commission Lead Hazard Resource Assistance (LHRA) program provides financial and technical assistance to income-eligible rental and homeowner-occupied properties to reduce the risk of lead poisoning caused by lead-based paint hazards. Work is completed by certified lead abatement contractors and testing is done to ensure the properties are safe before residents return.
