Clark County Domestic Violence Adult Services include WISE ( Women In Search of Empowerment) and Community Outreach/Prevention Education.
Domestic Violence is a pattern of physical, sexual, and psychological attacks, as well as economic coercion,that adults use against their partner, former partner, or family member. It is the abuse of power, the intentional behavior directed at achieving control over another, also behavior that crosses all racial, ethnic, religious, and economic lines. It is illegal. An adult can be arrested, charged, and convicted.
Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women; more than car accidents,muggings,and rapes combined.
Everyone has the right fo live free from the threat of violence, If your relationship frightens you, seek help. No one deserves to be abused.
