Christ's Meal - 2nd Thursday of each month, Church Parlor
The purpose of this free meal is to provide food, friendship and companionship to the hungry, needy, lonely and the elderly. All are welcome. The meal consists of anything from hearty soup and sandwiches to a complete Thanksgiving dinner. We serve between 60-120 plates of food each month.

Besides the service it gives to the people we feed, it has also given the volunteers incredible satisfaction and happiness to be able to provide this meal. Everything is done by volunteers. We need volunteers to help plan the meals, prepare the food, set up, serve, wash dishes and clean up. We need many helping hands of various ages and professions to accomplish this meal.

Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is a free service provided by St. Luke United Methodist Church. It is held once a month on the last Thursday of each month. Families in need are given a grocery sack full of canned goods, cereal, meat and other items which have been either donated to the food pantry or purchased from donated funds. The Sarah Circle also provides a baked meal or a large container of homemade soup for each family.

We serve 140-175 families. We average 30 new families a month. This service is accomplished through the use of volunteers. It takes many hours to obtain the food, distribute it and restock the shelves.
