Description:
This program provides an opportunity for persons age 60 and over and their spouses to enjoy a nutritious meal in a social setting at a cost compatible with their budgets. Fellowship, as well as planned social activities, are enjoyed at each dining site and informational programming is provided. It is funded by a federal grant and participant contributions. Reservations are required and are made by calling the site at which a person wishes to eat, or call the ADRC. Eight lunch sites are located throughout the County:

Home Delivered Meals: For homebound individuals age 60 plus, hot home delivered meals may be available. Frozen meals are also available in areas not served by hot meal service. All meals are on a contribution basis, a very necessary part of the budget.
Nutrition Supplements - A liquid supplement is available at a reduced cost with a doctor's prescription.
Finally, Café 60 offers adults age 60 and older more choices: who you dine with, time of day, and location. You can go to your local participating restaurant with friends or family and choose from a variety of healthy choices identified on the Café 60 approved menu. All you need to do is provide the participating restaurant with a valid Café 60 coupon.
