This program provides emergency food for local families and individuals in need.
SWEPS serves residents of south Wood County, WI. This includes the following cities and towns: Wisconsin Rapids, Port Edwards, Nekoosa, Grand Rapids, Kellner, Babcock, Dexterville, Pittsville, Biron and Rudolph.
FIRST TIME CLIENTS
To register, you will need to bring a photo ID and a current proof of address (a piece of mail that you've received within the past 30 days, such as a utility bill, rent receipt, cable bill, etc.) as a proof of residency. You will also need to verify the income for everyone in the household (wages, social security, SSI, food stamps, etc.)
If you are not in our area, please call the Community Information Line (2-1-1) and they will help you find a food bank in your area.
You may receive groceries only once every thirty (30) calendar days.
Re-sale, trade or barter of any item received from SWEPS is prohibited.
We expect that you will treat each other, our volunteers, and our staff with respect. We value everyone in our community and we want to be a welcoming place for all our neighbors.
There is no smoking while on the SWEPS campus. This includes Vapes.
