Description:
The mission of the Eagles Nest Emergency Shelter is to provide emergency and temporary shelter to homeless individuals, families and victims of domestic violence, in a clean, sanitary ad safe environment which supports the dignity and self-worth of our residents in their transition into permanent housing. We also help with housing searches and material goods. Our business hours are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When you call you will need to provide staff with your date of birth (for a background check). Other eligibility criteria to participate are that you are homeless, sober/ drug free, self-care and 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. We ask that you provide us with a good contact number so we can get in touch with you if there is a waiting list.
Circumstances that would make consumers ineligible for the program would be that they are on the sex offender registry, have an open bench warrant or absconder from probation.
