Falls Area Food Pantry, formally called Falls Area Community Services, is a full-service food pantry completely run by community volunteers. The Pantry’s mission is to gather and distribute nutritious food to those with acute or chronic need who live in the greater Menomonee Falls area. It also strives to raise awareness of hunger in our community and provides volunteer opportunities for community members to serve one another.
The Pantry was established in 1983 by twelve area churches to help meet the needs of residents laid-off from the Briggs and Stratton plant and others who needed food assistance. Today the Pantry continues to be supported by these partnering churches as well as many other local churches, businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals. The Pantry is managed by a volunteer staff and a volunteer board of directors.
In 2010, the Pantry moved to our present location at the former Village Water Department headquarters at N85 W15382 Menomonee River Pkwy.
