Spring Green Community Library, a part of the South Central Library System, offers a wide variety of popular materials. These materials to loan include: fiction and non-fiction books, children's books, including picture books, early readers and a special adaptive toy collection for all children to use. Also popular are videos, DVDs. music CDs, books-on-cassette,/CD and CD-ROMS for adults and children.
The library has eight public access computer stations. Six stations have access to the Internet and library databases. Two other stations are limited to the library's online catalog.
One large meeting room can be reserved by the public for meetings or programs sponsored by government units; non-profit educational and cultural agencies: and community service agencies.
An Archives Room with local history and cemetery inscription information (that includes the Home News newspaper on microfilm) is available during open hours.
Reference Services to Children and Adults: Library staff are available to help you find information whether it is found in print, online from a magazine, newspaper database or through the internet. Users are also given one-on-one instruction for using these sources as well as the Link online catalog which has materials available to loan from member libraries in the South Central Library System.
Your library card gives you access to thousands of titles in Wisconsin's Digital Library. Using software from OverDrive, you can borrow up to 10 digital titles at one time including e-books, digital audiobooks, and streaming videos.
