SER Jobs for Progress National, Inc. (SER National) has been funded by the Department of Labor to operate the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). SER SCSEP is a paid community service and work-based job training program for unemployed eligible people who are 55 years or older. Participants are assigned to non-profit or government agencies to perform hands on work experience and are paid directly by SER SCSEP. SER SCSEP also provide paid classroom training and supportive services. The hands on training and supportive services is a bridge to reaching the ultimate goal of finding permanent employment.
