Examples of issues addressed include: crime and public safety; nuisance properties; home rehabilitation resources; parking; zoning; and neighborhood development.
Will also assist elders and disabled persons who can not shovel snow in the winter by coordinating help for them. They attempt to locate someone from their list who lives in the immediate area of the caller. They relay the name and phone number of any possible shovelers to the caller.
It is up to the caller to make arrangements with the shoveler, such as how much it will cost. Their boundaries for snow shoveling are:
- From Oklahoma Ave north to Pierce St and from 1st Street to W. 38th Street.
