Description:
This program consists of one-on-one or group educational sessions to assist individuals/families understand the entire home buying process and how to be a successful homeowner. This program provides information on all aspects of homeownership such as, but not limited to, the differences between renting versus owning a home, how to pick a realtor, looking for a home, how to pick a financial institution and/or loan products, credit report and credit issues, the recommendation of a Home Inspection, homeowners insurance, title insurance, loan closings, affording the home after closing, home maintenance, fair housing, etc.
Eligibilities: Living within or moving to City of Wausau.
