Description:
Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers (TAIV) provides free and safe, nonmedical, volunteer assistance to homebound, who are elderly or disabled. Our program helps fill-the-gap when family or community service providers are unavailable or do not meet a care-recipient's needs. Services: Friendly visiting, telephone reassurance, transportation and/or social outings, light housecleaning, minor home repairs, assistance with nonfinancial paperwork, and respite for caregivers.
